Booking Request Form
If you would like to make a booking, please read the following information carefully before proceeding to fill in the booking request form.
SUBJECT MATTER
Making all of my client’s pieces unique is incredibly important to me so please don’t be offended if I can’t take on your ideas right now. It may be that I have already tattooed this particular subject many times, and am just looking for some fresh ideas to keep my work both enjoyable and creative.
Some subject matter can only be recycled so many times whilst still maintaining it’s authenticity, so I may decline certain popular subject matter if I feel that I can no longer keep to the integrity of the piece.
You may just have some rough ideas and need help putting them together, in which case I am happy to discuss how we can try to accommodate what you have in mind.
Currently, I am only taking on Black & Grey photorealism projects and booking in certain subject matter for my portfolio. I work on a day rate basis and the minimum size for a project that I can take on at this time is A5-A4.
My preferred themes to tattoo are –
- Portrait work
- Fantasy
- Dark themes
- Mythical
- Medieval/ancient history
- TV, film and music
- Sci-fi
SLEEVES/LARGER PIECES
For larger ongoing projects such as sleeves, it is recommended to book in multiple sittings at a time. This will ensure that you see decent progress within a smaller time frame and to avoid having to wait too long between appointments, as I am constantly taking on new appointments. Therefore if there is a longer period of time taken to book in your next appointment you may have to wait several months for my next available date.
2 day sittings in a row are possible for larger pieces and are great for getting work done fast if you are confident that you can sit for it, if not it’s recommended to leave at least 2 weeks healing time between sittings for your comfort and so the tattoo can be created properly.
COVERUPS
I rarely take on large coverups due to the neccesity for light tones and detail to make the tattoo look good.
However I am able to take on cover ups if they are small and can be easily disguised/ hidden and therefore don’t compromise the overall design of the tattoo too much.
I am unable to copy other artist’s
tattoos for you, and also unable to replicate my past work on other clients, but I can try and incorporate which ideas it is that you like and use them to create a piece for you that is unique.
I’m more than happy to tattoo alongside other artist’s work but prefer not to rework or touch up their pieces.
HOLIDAYS
Sun exposure can severely compromise the healing of your new tattoo and skin that has seen high levels of sun exposure, even when well cared for, is very difficult to work on.
For these reasons, if you know that you have a holiday booked, please do not book your tattoo appointment within 2 weeks either side of your time away as this will seriously impact your new artwork.
APPOINTMENTS
Dates are allocated on a first come first serve basis and are only secured once a deposit has been received.
Please be aware that if we have booked your appointment on the agreement of going forward with certain subjects and ideas, I may not be able to fulfil your request if you change your mind later down the line and the new idea strays too far from the originally agreed concept.
Once the appointment has been booked in, please let me know if you have any prior engagements which mean that you will have to leave for a certain time. This is because it isn’t uncommon for me to still be tattooing by 6pm-8pm in the evening in order to finish your piece, in which case we may be able to begin your appointment earlier in the day.
I will usually ask for some photo references from you with which we can design your ideas and I will then collect my own that I think would be suitable based on this. I will have these references ready to be discussed with you on the morning of the appointment, and we can then work together to create your piece. This process usually takes a couple of hours in order to get everything perfect, before we begin tattooing.
CANCELLATIONS
All bookings require a paid deposit in order to secure them. If you find that you need to cancel or move your appointment, if it is done so within plenty of time, then your deposit will be safe and can either be returned to you or moved forward to secure a different date. However, if you need to cancel your appointment with limited notice given, then i will be unable to return it to you. This is because sometimes this sitting will then go unattended if I cannot find someone to fill the spot within a short period of time.
In regards to cancellations, I no longer keep a list of who would like to be notified when one comes up, so when a cancellation is available I will advertise them on my Facebook and instagram pages.
If you are interested in attending a cancelled appointment, please ensure that you turn on your notifications for my social media posts and then you’ll be among the first to see them when they appear up for grabs.
